Foundational Scripture

Proverbs 10:22 MEV

The blessing of the Lord makes rich,
and He adds no sorrow with it.

As much as I want My people healed, I want them to prosper financially and provisionally. I want My people to thrive and flourish in these times. I want them to experience My supernatural provision. Lack and poverty are under the curse. Tell them that they are redeemed from the curse and that they are to walk in the fullness of THE BLESSING. My people are not subject to the times, no matter what is happening around them. Totally immerse them in the Word of prosperity. By doing this, the Word will build their faith and enlarge their capacity to believe and receive. (Ps. George Pearsons)

We said last week that it is God’s will for you to prosper

Matthew 8v1-3 NKJV

When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

The leper knew that Jesus was able to heal him. He knew Jesus had the ability, the power to heal him but he doubted Jesus’ willingness to heal him. He was not sure whether it was His will but Jesus proved it to him in verse 3 when He said “I am willing, be cleansed”.

Faith stops at the question mark. You must be sure and know, not if.

These are the same words Jesus is saying to you where your prosperity and your finances are concerned. He is saying “Yes, it is My will for you to prosper”.

Deuteronomy 8:18 NKJV

And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Deuteronomy 8v18 NIV

But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth…

Now let me ask you a question: If it’s not God’s will for you to prosper and increase, then why does He give you the power, the ability, the anointing, the wisdom and the favour to get wealth? The fact that He gave it to you, is enough evidence to prove to you that it is His will to bless you and increase you financially.

He doesn’t give you the wealth. He gives you the power to get wealth and the ability to produce wealth. You must put your hands to something. God blesses the work of your hands. God blesses movement.

God always moves with movers. He works with workers. He goes with goers but He doesn’t sit with sitters.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 NKJV

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might…

If you don’t act on God’s Word, you will forget what it says and it will not work for you. The Word only works for doers, not hearers.

Read Luke 6:46-49 NKJV

Stop doubting God’s willingness to prosper you and start saying…”Here I am God, prosper me. Here I am God, increase me. Here I am God, use me to help meet the needs of other people. Use me to finance the gospel. I know that You are not only able to do it but you are willing to do it for me”.

Say…”God I don’t limit you, I release You.”

The leper also doubted Jesus’ willingness to heal him because he felt unworthy. His sin made him feel that he was undeserving of God’s best blessings. He felt that he did not qualify for God’s goodness in his life. Don’t allow satan to use your past sins, failures and mistakes to tell you that God can’t bless you.

Don’t let false humility rob you of God’s blessings

Receive All God’s Blessings – Kenneth Copeland

Strong, sweet, godly—my wife’s grandfather was one of the finest gentlemen I have ever known. He belonged to a generation that was determined to pay its own way. He’d give you everything he had, but you couldn’t give him anything.

Of course, it’s an admirable thing for people to want to pull their own load; but the fact is, our lives aren’t complete until we learn how to receive. And that was something Pop never learned.

I remember when I discovered how true that was. He had an old, beat-up watch that he’d been wearing for years. One day the watchband broke, so he ran a paper clip through the band, bent the paperclip over the top of the watch, and wore it that way.

When I saw that paperclip holding his watchband together, I thought, a fine gentleman and man of God shouldn’t be wearing an old, broken watch like that! So, I bought him a new watch. I didn’t pay a lot of money for it, but I saw it, liked it and decided to buy it. When Christmas came, I gave the watch to him as a gift.

Two or three months later we were back over at his place and I noticed that Pop wasn’t wearing his new watch. He was wearing that same old, broken watch.

I said, “Pop, where’s your new watch?”. “Oh, I don’t wear that,” he said.

“Is there something wrong with it? If that’s the case, I’ll get you another watch.”

“Oh, no, no. It’s a fine watch. It’s too fine. That watch is too nice for me.”

He was serious. He simply couldn’t receive my gift. I remember feeling as if a door had slammed in my face. I had given Pop that watch and wanted to see him wear it. Rather than the joy of being a blessing to someone I cared about, I had an empty feeling. He was left without the blessing of wearing a new watch.

ROBBED BY FALSE HUMILITY

At that moment, The LORD spoke to me. Do you see how that makes you feel? It does the same thing to Me. Of course, you know that he’s saying these things out of humility, don’t you?

I said, Yes, Sir, I know he is.

“But do you realize that it isn’t true humility?”, The LORD continued. All it did was grieve your heart. Suddenly, I had a clear picture of how I had often treated The LORD.

Gloria’s grandfather lived into his mid-nineties. He was a good man, but there wasn’t any way he’d let anyone help him, including God. Because of that, his life fell short of what it could have been in God. False humility kept him from receiving.

We have the tendency to do the same thing Gloria’s grandfather did. Every day, God’s grace is extended to us, but often a sense of false humility keeps us from receiving. We don’t have confidence in the Giver, so we turn away from His gifts.

You are Mine. Come and be blessed by Me, The LORD says. “Oh, God,” we reply, “I might take a little bit of Your provision, just enough to get by, but I don’t think that it would be right for me to receive too many blessings from You.” – False humility.

How can we avoid grieving God in this way? We must learn that we walk in a great, eternal covenant that’s been formed between the Son and the Father. “Grace and peace,” they speak to us. “Power and prosperity.” That’s why we need to wake up, get a clear concept of the grace of God, and take our place in it.

Jesus made provision for your mistakes through His precious blood that He shed on Calvary.None of us were deserving and none of us qualified for God’s goodness in our lives but Jesus made us worthy and He made us righteous through His precious blood and now we qualify to receive God’s grace and God’s favour upon our lives.

2 Corinthians 5:21 NLT

For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

Psalm 5:12 MEV

 For You, Lord, will bless the righteous;
You surround him with favor like a shield.

Say…”I am righteous. I am blessed. God’s favour is surrounding me like a shield. I have favour with God and mankind.”

Poor No More

In case you didn’t know or you forgot, but you are not poor anymore. You used to be poor, but now that you’ve accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you are poor no more. You have been redeemed, delivered from the curse of poverty.

Poverty is a curse, it’s not a blessing. We talking about the Blessing. It’s THE BLESSING that makes rich and adds no sorrow.

Galatians 3:13-14 NKJV

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

The curse was threefold in nature. The curse of sin. The curse of sickness and the curse of poverty. And Jesus redeemed us from it all.

Say…”Lord, I declare my freedom from the curse of sin, sickness and poverty.”

You are not under a financial curse anymore. You are now under the blessing of Abraham.

Say…I am not under a financial curse anymore. I am now under THE BLESSING of Abraham.

Whatever you do now must prosper. But how are we going to prosper. Through the Word of God. That’s our foundation. That is our Source.

Psalm 1:1-3 NLT

Oh, the joys of those who do not
follow the advice of the wicked,
    or stand around with sinners,
    or join in with mockers.
But they delight in the law of the Lord,
meditating on it day and night.
They are like trees planted along the riverbank,
    bearing fruit each season.
Their leaves never wither,
and they prosper in all they do.

Willow trees prosper in every season because their roots are in the water. When your roots are in the water of God’s Word continually, you will prosper in all that you do.
