                What's Happening to my Harvest

Do you know that there are laws that govern abundance and increase. A law is something that works every time.

If we get to know and apply them correctly, we will get results everytime.

Galatians 6:7 NKJV

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

Luke 6:38 NKJV

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

Some of you right now may be in a very frustrating place. You’ve been confessing that God supplies all your needs, but you’re still broke and struggling.

What’s even more puzzling is that you’re a tither and a giver. You know that God’s Word is true and He promised to open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings you wouldn’t have room enough to receive.

But…You still have plenty of room. You can’t figure it out. You wondering, Where is my abundant supply? What is happening to my harvest.

Like I said earlier, there are laws that govern increase. And if you and I apply these laws correctly, we will get results everytime.

The law of gravity for example, works for for any person, any colour and any race. Likewise, there are reasons why some people fail to reap a harvest and why others reap only a small one.

If we will give attention to these reasons that I am about to share with you over the next few weeks – and make adjustments where necessary – we can enjoy a bumper crop of God’s blessings every time.

Now make sure that you read each message over the next few weeks because the answer to your question might come later on in one of the messages still to follow.

So let’s look at some of the reasons why some fail to reap a harvest.

1. It’s the law of sowing and reaping, not reaping and sowing.

The first reason people fail to reap a harvest is simple and obvious. The most common mistake they make is wanting to reap first and then sow but the law says, sow first and then you will reap.

It’s the law of sowing and reaping, not reaping and sowing.

It’s amazing how many people want to reap first, waiting for their ship to come in and yet they haven’t sent one out.

Look at the following scriptures to confirm what I am saying. Notice the order. Sow first then reap.

 Galatians 6:7 NKJV

… for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

Luke 6:38 NKJV

Give, and it will be given to you…

2 Corinthians 9:6 NKJV

…He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

The No.1 reason why people fail to receive their harvest is because they haven’t sown.

People make confessions! They give in prayer requests! They attend church faithfully!

But the fact of the matter remains, if they haven’t planted anything, if they haven’t given anything, they are not going to reap a harvest.

Now you might be thinking, but I don’t have anything to give. No problem!

God said that He will give seed to the sower. So if you have absolutely nothing, just say, “God, I need some seed to sow, and He’ll give it to you.”

2 Corinthians 9:10 NKJV

Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for your food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.

Notice, seed produces food, your seed produces increase and your seed produces fruit.

When God gives you seed, don’t eat your seed, sow your seed.

So pray right now and say, “God, I ask You to give me seed to sow”.

Sowing is your passport into God’s country of wealth. Some of you need to renew your passport. Renew your commitment to give again as before.

When you sow a seed, it prevents lack in the future.

You don’t have to reap seasonally. You can reap continually if you sow continually.

Next week we will continue to provide answers to how we can reap a bountiful harvest everytime.

God bless
