Happy New Year! I declare that 2018 is going to be your best year ever.
We are on Day 2 of our 21 Day Corporate Fast as a Church. It is not too late FOR YOU to join us. If you would like more information on the type of fast we are doing and to stay connected with daily words of encouragement, then you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get you plugged in.
Today I’m encouraging you to find out what belongs to you as a child of God through Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 1v3 NKJV
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
You have already been blessed with every spiritual blessing but if you don’t know it, you will end up living beneath the privileges that belong to you as a covenant child of God.
Hosea 4v6 NKJV
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…
Notice, (not sinners or the world) but My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Don’t stay ignorant of what belongs to you. God is not going to renew your mind for you. God is not going to take the time and read the Bible for you. You need to open the Bible and begin to study the Word of God for yourself and take advantage of the benefits that are yours as a child of God.
Ephesians 2v6 NKJV
And raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
Every spiritual blessing is in heavenly places (Ephesians 1v3). We are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2v6). So that means we are seated where these spiritual blessings are. So it’s not about asking God to bless us. We have already been blessed. It’s about us receiving every spiritual blessing that God has already blessed us with.
You need to understand that every material blessing in the earth comes from every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm and it’s your faith in God that causes these blessings to produce the supply for your need on earth.
So how do we lay hold of and receive these spiritual blessings?
The following prayers that Paul prayed for the saints to receive what God had already given them are the same prayers that you and I should pray for others and ourselves on a daily basis.
The prayers are:
I’ve typed out the prayers for you. Begin to pray them on a daily basis. Some of you know them and you have prayed them in the past but perhaps you’ve let them slip. I want to encourage you to go back to the basics and re-establish them in your life.
I know that as you begin praying these prayers and pray it all the time, which come directly from God’s Word, you will begin to experience a flood of revelation and understanding manifesting over your life. You will see and realize just how blessed you are. The Holy Spirit will show you and help you to walk in the reality and the manifestation of every spiritual blessing.
Start praying them today and let God’s Word transform you from the inside out.
Ephesians 1v17-23 (New King James Version)
I pray…that the God of [my] Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to [me] the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of [my] understanding being enlightened; that [I] may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward [me] who believes, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
Ephesians 3v16-21 (New King James Version)
I pray…that He would grant [me], according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in [my] inner man, that Christ may dwell in [my] heart through faith; that [I], being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that [I] may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in [me], to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Philippians 1v9-11 (New King James Version)
And this I pray, that [my] love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that [I] may approve the things that are excellent, that [I] may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
Colossians 1v9-11 (New King James Version)
I pray…that [I] may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that [I] may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy.
