As much as I want My people healed, I want them to prosper financially and provisionally. I want My people to thrive and flourish in these times. I want them to experience My supernatural provision. Lack and poverty are under the curse. Tell them that they are redeemed from the curse and that they are to walk in the fullness of THE BLESSING. My people are not subject to the times, no matter what is happening around them. Totally immerse them in the Word of prosperity. By doing this, the Word will build their faith and enlarge their capacity to believe and receive. (Ps. George Pearsons)

So it is God’s will for every one of His children to prosper in every area of their lives including finances. You don’t have to talk God into the idea of prospering you. Since the Garden of Eden, prosperity and blessing have been His idea.

To prosper means to succeed and flourish. Prosperity is to advance or gain in anything good or desirable. It also means wellbeing. Over and over throughout the scriptures, God reveals that it is His will to prosper His people.

God Wants Us to Prosper

Psalm 25:13 NIV

He will spend his days in prosperity and his descendants will inherit the land.

Psalm 35v27  KJV

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

3 John 2-4 KJV

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

John 17:17 NKJV

Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.

3 John 2 AMP

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way..

Matthew 8v1-3 NIV

The leper knew that Jesus was able to heal him. He knew Jesus had the ability, the power to heal him but he doubted Jesus’ willingness to heal him. He was not sure whether it was His will but Jesus proved it to him in verse 3 when He said “I am willing, be cleansed”.

These are the same words Jesus is saying to you where your prosperity and your finances are concerned. He is saying “Yes I am willing for you to be prosperous, to be wealthy, to be rich, to be successful, to be victorious. Go for it, I’m behind you, I’m backing you, I’m supporting you. I have given you My ability, My power to get wealth”.

You see, you must do something, give something. Dont just sit and do nothing. God blesses movement. (Example of a ship that is standing still, it can’t turn).

Deuteronomy 8:18

Thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is He that giveth thee the power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Deuteronomy 8v18 NIV

But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth…

Now let me ask you a question: If it is not God’s will for you to prosper and increase financially, then why does He give you the power, the ability, the anointing, the wisdom and the favour to get wealth?

The fact that He gave it to you, is enough evidence to prove to you that it is His will to bless you and increase you financially.

So stop doubting God’s willingness to prosper you and start saying “Here I am God, prosper me; Here I am God, increase me; Here I am God, use me to help meet the needs of other people, use me to finance the gospel. I know that You are not only able to do it but you are willing to do it for me”.

The leper also doubted Jesus’ willingness to heal him because he felt unworthy. His sin made him feel that he was undeserving of God’s best blessings. He felt that he did not qualify for God’s goodness in his life. Don’t allow satan to use your past and your mistakes that you’ve made and to tell you that God can’t bless you. The devil is a liar.

Jesus made allowances for your mistakes through His precious blood that He shed on calvary. None of us were deserving and none of us qualified for God’s goodness in our lives but Jesus made us worthy and He made us righteous through His precious blood and now we are qualified to receive God’s grace and God’s favour.

Colossians 1:12 NKJV

giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.

2 Chronicles 16:9

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him….

Proverbs 10:22 KJV

The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it.

It is the Blessing of The Lord that makes you rich, not your education, or your degree or even your lack of education. It is the Blessing of The Lord that makes you successful. So have faith in the Blessing.

Philippians 4:19

But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

God has a covenant determination to prosper us. Our responsibility is to believe it and receive it.

True prosperity is the ability to use God’s power to meet the needs of mankind in every realm of life—spirit, soul, body, financially, emotionally, etc.

So we see that it is God’s will to prosper His children.

Psalm 84:11 NIV

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favour and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

So God is not in the withholding business, He is in the releasing business. He is in the giving business. God is a giver.

John 3:16 NKJV

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God loved you so much that He gave. God’s giving is a result of His loving.
